Answer:Each cartridge contains 10 g of C18 silica in a 60 mL polypropylene reservoir.
Answer:Hydrophobic and other relatively nonpolar compounds are retained primarily through reversed-phase interactions.
Answer:The pack contains 16 cartridges with 120 µm sorbent particles.
Agilent Bond Elut C18 solid-phase extraction cartridges use octadecyl-bonded silica to retain relatively nonpolar analytes from liquid samples during reversed-phase sample cleanup. Each straight-barrel polypropylene cartridge contains 10 g of 120 µm C18 sorbent in a 60 mL reservoir, with polyethylene frits to retain the packed material. The large bed mass and reservoir volume accommodate higher-capacity extraction workflows than small analytical SPE cartridges. Typical matrices include aqueous samples and biological fluids, and the hydrophobic retention mechanism is useful for isolating nonpolar compounds before chromatographic analysis. Method development should establish sorbent conditioning, loading solvent strength, wash conditions, and elution composition for the analytes of interest. The supply format contains 16 cartridges per pack.
