The Agilent 2-position, 6-port RC injection valve is a controlled flow-switching assembly used in designated 1260 Infinity II liquid chromatography sampling configurations. Its six ports and two positions route the sample and mobile phase during loading and injection, supporting repeatable sample introduction when paired with the correct loop, capillaries and valve drive. The valve is specified for 600 bar operation. It should not be treated as a 1300 bar valve, a 2-position 8-port valve or a generic replacement for every 1260 or 1290 sampler. The manufacturer identifies specific compatible instrument variants, including the G7129A configuration. During installation, confirm valve orientation, port numbering, compatible plumbing and pressure limits; complete leak, carryover and injection-repeatability checks after replacement.
