Application Note

The Agilent high-pressure autosampler injection-valve rotor seal is a replacement rotor component for the G7167B multisampler injection valve of supported 1290 Infinity II liquid chromatography systems. The component is made from PAEK polymer and is specified for 1300 bar operation. It mates with the designated injection-valve stator and bearing ring to provide reproducible fluid routing between loading and injection positions. This is not the PEEK purge-valve rotor used in the high-speed pump and should not be substituted on the basis of its pressure rating alone. Matching the precise valve configuration is essential because dimensions and port alignment determine sealing performance and sample carryover. Before service, depressurize the LC flow path, inspect the valve surfaces, replace the worn rotor and verify injection performance and leak-free operation.
