Application Note

Agilent NovoFlow 100X is a concentrated sheath-fluid solution for compatible flow cytometry fluidics systems. The package contains ten bottles of 20 mL concentrate, providing a total of 200 mL and allowing each bottle to prepare approximately 2 L of working sheath fluid when diluted to 1X. Sheath fluid provides the continuous carrier stream used to transport and hydrodynamically position particles or cells through the flow cell during optical measurement. Stable fluid composition and cleanliness are important for flow consistency, sample alignment and reproducible scatter or fluorescence signals. Prepare the working solution with suitable laboratory water and follow the fluidics system's dilution, handling and maintenance procedures. The 100X concentrate is not intended for direct use at full strength and is not a cell stain, antibody reagent or sample preservative. NovoFlow is supplied for research use only, not for diagnostic procedures.
