Answer:It replaces the nebulizer block within a compatible Mark 7 flame AA spray-chamber assembly.
Answer:No. The integrated nebulizer and spray-chamber mounting screws are excluded.
Answer:The fluorinated material provides chemical resistance for the sample-introduction environment in flame AA analysis.
The Agilent fluorinated nebulizer block is a replacement component for the Mark 7 flame atomic absorption spray-chamber assembly. The block forms part of the nebulizer mounting and sample-introduction hardware, where liquid sample is aspirated and converted into an aerosol before reaching the flame. Fluorinated construction supports chemical resistance in the sample-introduction environment, an important consideration for laboratories handling demanding solution matrices. This item excludes the integrated nebulizer and spray-chamber mounting screws, so it should not be ordered as a complete nebulizer or full Mark 7 atomization assembly. It is used when servicing damaged, contaminated or worn nebulizer hardware and can be combined with the appropriate separately sourced parts during maintenance. Installation should preserve correct seating, sealing and alignment to avoid leaks or inconsistent aspiration. After repair, evaluate sample uptake, signal stability and blank response before returning the flame AA method to routine operation.
