Answer:The trap targets hydrocarbons and moisture in a compatible laboratory gas stream.
Answer:It has a 1/4 inch connection and a nominal 200 cc trap capacity.
Answer:No. This version does not include an indicator; use scheduled maintenance or gas-quality checks.
The Agilent hydrocarbon and moisture trap cleans compatible laboratory gas lines by retaining hydrocarbon vapors and water that would otherwise reach downstream analytical components. The 200 cc trap is specified with a 1/4 inch connection size and is suitable for installations requiring combined removal of these two contaminant classes. Cleaner gas helps reduce unwanted baseline effects, protect instrument plumbing and support consistency in sensitive gas-based analysis. Select the trap using actual gas composition, pressure, fittings and installation direction rather than using connection size alone. This model has no built-in saturation indicator, so maintenance should follow an established replacement schedule or independent gas-quality assessment. The maximum operating pressure is 250 psig; do not exceed the weakest pressure rating anywhere in the assembled line. After installation, check connections for leaks and purge the gas path using the applicable instrument procedure. The trap is not intended to capture all possible gas impurities.
