Description
The Hach Chloride Test Kit is designed for the determination of chloride using Silver Nitrate Digital Titrator Titration, according to Hach Method 8207. It provides measurement ranges of 10-100 mg/L and 100-10.000 mg/L as Cl⁻. The kit contains 2 chloride indicator powder pillow packs and two silver nitrate titration cartridges (0.2256 N and 1.128 N), providing approximately 40 to 100 tests per range. Please note that the digital titrator is not included.
Chloride, found in nearly all natural waters, can affect human taste at concentrations above 250 mg/L. Elevated chloride levels may indicate contamination from road salt, industrial discharges, or agricultural runoff, posing a risk to aquatic ecosystems and human health. High chloride levels can inhibit plant growth and disrupt many industrial processes that require controlled chloride concentrations.
Hach Chloride Test Kits are essential tools for measuring chloride levels in water and various industrial processes. These test kits are critical for monitoring chloride levels in drinking water, wastewater, and natural water bodies. Ensure accurate and reliable chloride measurements with the Hach Chloride Test Kit and help maintain water quality and safety in various applications.
