Overview
MiSeq Reagent Kits v2 enable more output to simplify each MiSeq run. MiSeq Reagent Kits v2 retain the same pre-filled, ready-to-use reagent cartridges as the v1 kits but offer improvements in data quality and allow various formats for low-output applications.

MiSeq Reagent Kit v2 includes pre-filled, ready-to-use reagent cartridges for performing cluster generation and sequencing on the MiSeq System.
How many reads per run are possible with a MiSeq v2 Reagent Kit?
There are up to 15M reads per run.
What is the difference between MiSeq reagents v2 and v3?
MiSeq Reagent Kit v3 offers a 600-cycle format to enable long read lengths or a 150-cycle format that enables counting applications. MiSeq Reagent Kit v3 contains two additional reagents, the Incorporation Mix (IMT) and Scan Mix (USM), and the PR2 volume has been increased to 500 ml to support longer runs. This ensures double the output of a single run using the v3 kits (3.3–15 Gb) compared to v2 kits (0.75–8.5 Gb).
