Sartorius, 13400--47------Q, Glass Microfiber Filters / Grade 13400

Sartorius Grade 13400 glass microfiber filter discs are hydrophilic, binder-containing depth-type media for liquid clarification and prefiltration during analytical sample preparation. Each white, non-gridded disc has a 47 mm diameter and an indicated thickness of 0.39 mm. The package contains 500 nonsterile, bulk-packed discs. This prefilter can retain larger particulate loads ahead of downstream membrane filtration, reducing premature blockage in compatible workflows. The glass microfiber construction is different from a defined-pore sterile membrane and is not associated with a specified pore-size rating. Use a suitable 47 mm holder and evaluate fluid compatibility and loading for the intended application. The published thermal stability limit is 180 °C, but this figure alone does not establish sterilization validation or biological retention performance.
