The corresponding metric dimensions are approximately 15.9 mm ID and 22.2 mm OD. This holder is used for larger transfer tubing used with disposable processing manifolds, where a secure tube position is necessary for a repeatable sterile connection. This holder supports a 7/8-inch outer diameter, but available automatic weld programs depend on the precise tubing material and size. The instrument recognizes the installed holder size. Two matching holder components are supplied per box. Prepare clean, undamaged tube ends, select the compatible tubing type and verify the assigned weld program before operation. Verify the selected material and device program: certain SaniPure BDF configurations are excluded at this size. This item is a reusable positioning accessory, not a complete welding machine, replacement blade, tubing assembly or sterile connector.
