The Ambr CF Hydrosart 300 kDa cassette expands crossflow screening to a comparatively open ultrafiltration membrane within the Sartorius Ambr Crossflow family. Its 10 cm² regenerated-cellulose-based membrane enables assessment of transmission, recovery and concentration behavior for large biomolecules, complexes and selected high-molecular-weight feeds. The 300 kDa nominal cutoff should be considered together with the molecular dimensions and association behavior of the target material; it does not function as a fixed particle-size sieve. Automated small-volume testing allows researchers to explore how buffer composition, crossflow and transmembrane pressure affect throughput and selectivity before selecting a production-scale device. Relative to smaller-cutoff Hydrosart membranes, this configuration may offer greater permeability but different product loss characteristics. The cassette is disposable and designed for the Ambr Crossflow holder. Four 10 cm² cassettes are supplied per box for independent trials.
