Sartorius Safetyspace filtered pipette tips are 1,000 µL racked polypropylene tips designed for reliable liquid handling with added space between the sample and the aerosol-barrier filter. This separation zone helps reduce the chance that foaming samples or reverse-pipetting motions will wet the filter. The 78 mm tips are supplied as 960 units in ten trays of 96, supporting repeated laboratory work without sacrificing orderly rack-based handling. Applications include preparation of buffers, protein solutions, analytical dilutions and other transfers where aerosol protection is useful. The filter is intended to limit transfer of aerosols into the pipette; it does not make incompatible pipettes suitable for these tips or remove the need for clean technique. Confirm secure tip attachment and avoid exceeding the rated volume. Choose a suitable pipetting mode for viscous or foaming liquids. These are standard-length filtered tips, not extended-length tips, and they are separate from the pipette itself.
