Their polypropylene construction incorporates an aerosol-barrier filter positioned away from the working liquid column, leaving additional space to accommodate challenging aspiration or dispensing motions. The product is supplied as ten trays of 96 tips, totaling 960 units. Applications include transferring larger buffer aliquots, preparing solutions and working with foaming or protein-containing laboratory liquids where minimizing aerosol passage into the pipette is important. Match the tip to the supported pipette model and the required calibrated volume range; a 1,200 µL tip should not be treated as interchangeable with a 1,000 µL version solely because both are filtered. Use fresh tips between samples and avoid deliberately wetting the barrier filter. The racked tips are consumables, not a pipette, sterilization unit or complete liquid-handling system.
