Answer:The plate has one well and a listed volume of 240 mL.
Answer:It is used for reagent and sample staging within compatible Ambr 15 automated cell-culture methods.
Answer:No. It is a liquid-handling reservoir plate without the sparging, stirring and sensor functions of Ambr 15 microbioreactor vessels.
The Ambr 15 Cell Culture single-well plate is a large-compartment reagent-handling accessory for automated cell-culture experiments. With one well and a 240 mL listed volume, it provides a different liquid staging arrangement from the four-well and 24-well plate options. The open single-reservoir geometry is useful when a relatively large quantity of one medium, wash liquid or feed reagent needs to remain available during an automated experimental sequence. The plate is used as part of the Ambr 15 liquid-handling workflow and should be assigned correctly within the system's plate map. It is not a single-use bioreactor vessel: the plate does not contain an impeller, sparger or integrated culture monitoring sensors. Users should consider liquid compatibility, required volume and contamination controls during reagent preparation. Its purpose is to supply or collect process liquids efficiently, rather than perform independently controlled cultivation.
