Answer:30 m length, 0.25 mm inner diameter and 0.25 µm film thickness.
Answer:Its low-bleed, low-polarity stationary phase helps limit chromatographic background during MS analysis.
Answer:Semivolatiles, PAHs, pesticide residues, solvent impurities and other organic compounds.
Shimadzu SH-5Sil MS is a low-polarity capillary GC column engineered for low-bleed gas chromatography–mass spectrometry analysis. The 30 m fused-silica column has a 0.25 mm internal diameter and a 0.25 µm stationary-phase film. Its crossbonded silarylene-modified 5%-phenyl-type phase supports separations of semivolatile organics, pesticides, PAHs, solvent impurities and a range of environmental compounds. The low-bleed stationary phase can help reduce column-derived background during mass-spectrometric detection. This configuration differs from both the narrower-bore SH-5Sil MS alternatives and conventional non-MS-specific GC phases. The stated operating temperature range is −60 to 330/350 °C, depending on operating mode.
