Send an RFQ for Shimadzu 228-18058, OPTICAL WINDOW.STANDARD CELL. Iright supports global sourcing and international shipment for life science and laboratory products.
Answer:Maintaining light transmission through the standard flow-cell optical assembly.
Answer:No. It is a replacement optical window only.
Answer:Flow-cell gaskets, retaining hardware and nearby optical surfaces.
The Shimadzu Standard Flow Cell Optical Window is a replacement transparent window component for the optical measurement path of compatible Shimadzu HPLC UV detectors. The window forms part of the light-transmitting assembly surrounding the standard flow cell, enabling incident and transmitted radiation to pass through the monitored liquid region. Surface contamination, cracking or improper seating can affect optical throughput and contribute to noise, drift or abnormal absorbance readings. Inspect the cell's sealing elements and supporting hardware when replacing the window, since degraded gaskets may cause fluid leakage near delicate optical components. Work on a clean, protected surface and avoid touching the optical faces with bare fingers. Reassemble the cell using the appropriate hardware and verify leak tightness and detector baseline performance before running analytical samples. This is an optical window for a standard flow cell, not the entire flow cell, a UV source lamp or the separate R4/RD6 lens. Optical material and detector compatibility should not be generalized across other cell designs.
