This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human., [BIOCHEMISTRY], A cancer detection by PET* using a tracer, 18F-FDG (*: Positron emission tomography), Mannose Triflate is used as a substrate for synthesis of PET reagent,, 18, F-FDG. After nuclear transmutation of, 18, O to, 18, F in a cyclotron,, 18, F-FDG (2-deoxy-2-, 18, F-fluoro-D-glucose) is automatically synthesized from Mannose Triflate. Once purified, it is used for PET examination. Since the half life of, 18, F is 2 hours, it is synthesized in each hospital., FDG is characterized by a tendency to accumulate more in tumor cells than in normal cells. Therefore, it is effective in early detection, detection of recurrence and metastasis of various types of cancer such as lung cancer, colon cancer and breast cancer., This product is packed in unit doses., [Features], 20 mg of Mannose Triflate in unit doses., Rubber stopper and aluminum cap are used.
