Answer:It is a direct-connect pre-column used to protect a matched glycan analytical column.
Answer:Each guard is 2.1 × 5 mm with 1.7 µm, 130 Å BEH amide particles.
Answer:Three VanGuard pre-columns are supplied per pack.
Waters ACQUITY UPLC Glycan BEH Amide VanGuard pre-columns protect matched glycan HILIC analytical columns against sample contamination. Each direct-connect pre-column measures 2.1 × 5 mm and contains 1.7 µm, 130 Å BEH particles carrying amide chemistry. The low-volume guard format preserves glycan separation performance while helping to extend the useful life of the main analytical column. The packed phase supports released-glycan workflows and is qualified for glycan chromatography. Three pre-columns are supplied per pack; they are protective consumables, not 150 mm analytical columns.
