Answer:It is 2.1 × 150 mm, packed with 1.7 µm BEH amide particles with 130 Å pores.
Answer:It is optimized for HILIC separation of released, labeled glycans from biopharmaceuticals.
Answer:Waters describes use with fluorescence detection of 2-aminobenzamide-labeled released glycans.
ACQUITY UPLC® Glycan BEH Amide is a hydrophilic-interaction chromatography (HILIC) column developed for high-resolution profiling of released glycans in biopharmaceutical characterization. This configuration is a 2.1 × 150 mm analytical column packed with 1.7 µm ethylene-bridged hybrid particles bearing an amide stationary phase and 130 Å pores. It is optimized for separation of released N-glycans labeled with 2-aminobenzamide (2-AB) using fluorescence detection and compatible UPLC systems. The chemistry is classified as USP L68, and the stated pH operating range is 2–11. Glycan separation supports quality assessment of therapeutic proteins and evaluation of glycosylation patterns. This item is supplied as one column and should be selected for the intended glycan-analysis method rather than generic C18 applications.
