Replacement Double Ball & Seat Check Valve.  This part number provides a single check valve intended for use in an ACQUITY Quaternary Solvent Manager.  The same check valve can be purchased via 700002968, which provides a 2/pk which would be the correct quantity for an ACQUITY Binary Solvent Manager.

The Waters double-ball-and-seat check valve is a replacement pump component for the accumulator side of compatible ACQUITY solvent manager systems, particularly quaternary solvent manager configurations. It helps maintain the intended directional movement of mobile phase through the liquid chromatography pump as pressure cycles change. Unlike a primary spring-loaded inlet valve, the double-ball design is associated with a specific pump position and must be selected using the instrument service diagram. The package contains one valve; separate two-valve packages are available for configurations that require paired replacements. Poorly sealing pump valves can cause difficulty priming, pressure variation or inconsistent delivery. During installation, flush contamination from the fluid path, follow the recommended valve orientation and perform leak and pump-delivery checks after reassembly.
