Answer:Nebulizer sample uptake when handling ketone-based organic sample solutions.
Answer:By the meter.
Answer:No. It is replacement sample uptake tubing for compatible spectroscopy fluidics.
The Agilent nebulizer capillary tubing is used in the liquid sample uptake line of compatible atomic spectroscopy equipment, including ICP-OES and MP-AES systems. This tubing variant is intended for ketone-based organic sample applications and is supplied by the meter for connection between a sample container and the peristaltic pump or nebulizer uptake assembly. A continuous, unobstructed sample line is important because variations in aspiration can produce unstable plasma loading and inconsistent analytical response. Cut tubing cleanly to the required length and use compatible connectors to avoid leaks or restrictions. Inspect the line after exposure to organic matrices, and replace it if swelling, cracking, contamination, or reduced flow is observed. Keep the uptake path as short and direct as practical for the installed configuration, and verify consistent delivery with blanks and standards. This is capillary tubing, not a complete nebulizer or peristaltic pump tube.
