Answer:In the module leak pan or associated leak-handling area.
Answer:Solvent accumulation that can trigger the instrument leak alarm.
Answer:No. A leaking fluidic connection must be repaired separately.
The Agilent HPLC leak sensor assembly monitors the leak collection area inside compatible liquid chromatography modules. Installed in the instrument leak pan or leak-handling system, the sensor helps the module recognize solvent accumulation and generate a leak alarm when fluid escapes a fitting or internal component. It is a replaceable electronic sensing assembly used in Agilent LC maintenance, separate from leak tubing, drain funnels and the leak pan itself. Compatible implementations appear in selected pump, autosampler and detector modules, including several 1100, 1200 and Infinity-series instruments. Replacing a defective sensor restores leak-detection capability but does not repair the underlying fluidic leak that triggered an alarm.
