The valve is manufactured from Nitronic 60 alloy and is rated for a maximum pressure of 400 psi and a maximum temperature of 225 °C. Its ten-port configuration must match the flow diagram and valve actuator arrangement of the intended instrument. Correct port mapping, fitting selection and sealing are essential to prevent leaks, cross-contamination and unexpected changes in chromatographic retention.
