Agilent UV-Vis OQ/PV Standards Kit 1 contains certified chemical solutions for operational qualification and performance verification of UV-visible spectrophotometers. The 14 sealed 10 mL ampoules include potassium dichromate solutions at two concentrations, sulfuric acid blanks, n-hexane blanks, toluene solution and sodium nitrite, sodium iodide and potassium chloride solutions. These materials support performance checks such as photometric accuracy, stray light and spectral resolution using suitable test methods. The kit is a set of chemical reference standards rather than an instrument accessory or a calibration lamp. Several constituents require hazardous-chemical handling, and the solutions should be used under the appropriate test procedure and chemical-safety controls.
