The large-pore packing targets high-molecular-weight protein assemblies and related biopharmaceutical particles, including aggregate analysis of large biological molecules, adeno-associated viruses and virus-like particles. The nominal molecular-weight resolving range is 50 kDa to 7.5 MDa. Operating limits include a maximum column pressure rating of 240 bar and a working pH range of 2–8.5. Mobile-phase ionic strength and composition should be selected to minimize secondary interactions that can distort SEC profiles. The column is shipped in phosphate buffer; equilibrate thoroughly with the analytical mobile phase and monitor backpressure before sample injection.
