The Agilent Infinity II autosampler sample transport assembly is a mechanical service unit for G7129A, G7129B and G7129C liquid chromatography autosamplers. It supports controlled movement of sample containers through the sampling mechanism and is replaced when transport faults persist after appropriate diagnostics. Symptoms requiring investigation can include movement errors, failed referencing or intermittent vial-handling problems. Inspect vial geometry, cap dimensions, gripper condition, mechanical obstructions and drive components before attributing a fault to this assembly. Installation is an instrument service operation that must preserve the alignment of the moving parts and the safety interlocks. Automatic referencing and instrument diagnostics are necessary after repair to restore reliable positional control. The sample transport assembly is not an injection needle, sample loop, injection valve or complete autosampler. It is supplied for replacement in designated Infinity II modules, and the correct service procedure depends on the installed model and firmware configuration.
