Answer:70,000 Da.
Answer:1 g.
Answer:It adds a larger molecular-size reference to a multi-point size-exclusion calibration.
The Agilent Polyethylene Oxide GPC/SEC Standard is a 1 g polymer material characterized by a nominal 70,000 Da peak molecular weight. It supports size-exclusion calibration toward the upper portion of a low-to-intermediate molecular-weight range and complements PEO references at 20,000, 30,000 and 50,000 Da. For accurate use, dissolve the polymer under controlled conditions and select an eluent that maintains stable polymer solution behavior without unwanted adsorption to the column. Higher molecular-weight chains can exhibit viscosity and handling sensitivity, making sample concentration, filtration practice and mixing conditions important to reproducible results. Run the standard under the same chromatographic configuration used for the corresponding samples and retain the lot-specific certificate with the analytical records. Apparent molecular-weight results remain dependent on the reference polymer and the SEC method. This standard is neither a certified single-molecule mass reference nor a complete multi-point kit; it is a single grade within a broader PEG/PEO calibration range.
