The BD Rhapsody cDNA Kit supplies reagents for reverse transcription of RNA captured on BD Rhapsody Cell Capture Beads. In the single-cell workflow, the captured RNA is converted into complementary DNA that serves as a template for downstream targeted mRNA, whole-transcriptome, TCR/BCR, or compatible multimodal library preparation. The cDNA step preserves the molecular link between material captured from individual cells and subsequent amplification workflows. Reagent functions include reverse transcription, RNA protection, and reaction processing; cell capture cartridges and targeted amplification panels are not part of the cDNA kit. The kit is stored frozen at -25 to -15 °C, and temperature control is important for enzyme integrity. It is intended for research use with the compatible BD Rhapsody system and assay procedure. Reaction setup and bead-handling steps should follow the applicable validated laboratory workflow.
