Answer:The antibody detects human CD38 with clone HB7 and is conjugated to BV421.
Answer:The product is listed at 25 µg/mL with a volume of 5 µL per test.
Answer:No. This configuration is labeled ASR (analyte-specific reagent), and analytical or performance characteristics are not established by that designation.
The BD Horizon CD38 BV421 mouse monoclonal antibody, clone HB7, detects human CD38 by flow cytometry. CD38 is a surface glycoprotein expressed across several hematopoietic lineages and is relevant to studies of activation and cellular differentiation. The Brilliant Violet 421 conjugate is excited by a 405 nm violet laser and produces emission near 423 nm, permitting detection through an appropriate blue-violet optical channel. The reagent concentration is 25 µg/mL, with a nominal staining volume of 5 µL per test. Combine CD38 with other appropriate surface markers to resolve the population of interest; CD38 expression alone is insufficient to determine lineage or clinical condition. Use validated controls to establish background, compensation or spectral unmixing. Store the fluorochrome conjugate at 2–8°C protected from light and do not freeze. This exact formulation is labeled as an analyte-specific reagent (ASR); its regulatory status must not be replaced by a generic research-use designation.
