Consieve™ UET is a reusable laboratory-scale tangential-flow ultrafiltration cassette designed for protein concentration, diafiltration, and buffer exchange. The filtration element uses an asymmetric modified polyethersulfone membrane, selected for low protein binding and efficient transport of suitable process solutions. The cassette can be mounted in a compatible stainless-steel holder for evaluation of process parameters before scaling to pilot or manufacturing systems. Its laboratory format is appropriate for research involving proteins, peptides, antibodies, and other biomolecules when the selected molecular-weight cutoff permits the desired retention. The manufacturer offers multiple membrane cutoffs, channel-screen types, and effective areas across this cassette family; these choices should not be treated as interchangeable. The cassette is reusable after validated cleaning, is supplied nonsterile, and requires appropriate prerinsing before use.
