The Pall 25 mm sterile syringe filter uses a 0.2 µm Supor polyethersulfone membrane for small-volume liquid filtration. Supor is a hydrophilic membrane material, while the product's hydrophobic stripe is a separate design feature and must not be interpreted as making the entire filtration membrane hydrophobic. The female and male Luer-lock connections permit secure integration with compatible syringes and downstream fittings. The sterile 50-piece presentation is useful in laboratory sample processing and controlled small-volume liquid-transfer procedures where a defined microbial-retention membrane is required. Check sample compatibility, operating pressure and required extractables limits before use, and select a suitable syringe and receiving container. Push the solution through the filter without excessive force to avoid damage or leakage at the Luer connection. A membrane pore rating alone does not validate a complete sterile manufacturing process. The filter is a disposable syringe-mounted device, not a large-volume capsule filter or air-vent membrane.
