Description

The M12 connector is a widely adopted industrial connector that serves as a standard interface for numerous devices, including our VisiFerm mA and VisiTrace mA sensors, as well as a variety of associated accessories. Its prevalence in industrial automation highlights its reliability and versatility in providing secure electrical connections in demanding environments.
However, it is crucial to exercise caution when selecting cables for M12 connectors, as there exists a multitude of variations. These variations can differ significantly in the number of pins they feature and the specific type of connection they employ. Therefore, careful attention to the pin configuration and connection style of both the sensor/accessory and the intended cable is essential to ensure proper and reliable communication and power transfer.
