Answer:5 mL capacity.
Answer:No. The attached 22-gauge needle has a conical side-port point-style 5 tip.
Answer:No. The needle is cemented to the luer-tip fitting.
The Hamilton Gastight 1005 syringe measures and dispenses up to 5 mL of liquid or gas with a PTFE-tipped plunger and a chemically resistant borosilicate glass barrel. Its luer-tip cemented 22-gauge stainless-steel needle is 51 mm (2 inches) long and terminates in a conical side-port point-style 5 tip. This side-port geometry routes the fluid through a lateral opening rather than a conventional beveled outlet. The fixed-needle assembly serves general laboratory sampling, controlled dispensing, and transfer of compatible samples. The glass, stainless-steel, and PTFE fluid path is not autoclavable in this configuration.
