EZ-Fit removable porous filter supports provide a stainless-steel support surface for membrane filtration on compatible EZ-Fit manifold stations. Each support sits beneath the membrane during vacuum filtration and helps maintain an even drainage path through the filter. The perimeter includes a continuous rim to allow membrane removal with forceps while reducing direct contact with the active filtration area. Removal is performed by pressing around the support edge, enabling disassembly for cleaning or replacement. The reusable stainless-steel construction suits microbiological testing workflows involving filterable water, food, beverage, and cosmetic samples, provided the complete assembly and handling procedure are qualified for the method. Three porous support pieces are supplied in the package. Before use, verify compatibility with the manifold head and membrane diameter, ensure the support and associated hardware are clean, and assemble the system without bending or damaging the filtration surface. The porous support is an accessory; it is not itself a microbial-retention membrane.
