Phenomenex Aeris™ PEPTIDE XB-C18 is a reversed-phase LC column optimized for peptide separations, including analytical peptide mapping and peptide-related characterization. This configuration combines 2.6 µm particles, 100 Å pores and a 250 × 4.6 mm column format. Its C18 peptide-selective stationary phase supports separation of complex peptide mixtures produced during proteolytic digestion or synthetic peptide analysis. The 250 mm bed length offers useful resolving space for methods that must distinguish closely eluting peptide species, while the small particle size supports efficient peaks with suitable LC instrumentation. It is relevant to biopharmaceutical development, protein characterization and analytical-method optimization. Proper sample preparation, mobile-phase choice and detector conditions govern performance for each peptide mixture. This is a complete analytical LC column, not a short guard cartridge.
