Phenomenex Aeris™ PEPTIDE XB-C18 is a reversed-phase analytical column for peptide characterization and peptide mapping. This version uses 3.6 µm particles with 100 Å pore size in a 250 × 4.6 mm stainless-steel LC column format. The peptide-oriented C18 stationary phase provides hydrophobic selectivity for mixtures of peptides generated by enzymatic digestion or chemical synthesis. It supports analytical work on peptide identification, impurity profiling and comparative mapping of protein-based products. Its 3.6 µm particle specification distinguishes the product from the related 2.6 µm Aeris version, which may require different pressure and performance considerations in a method. A matching analytical system, mobile-phase gradient and detection approach determine practical separation quality. The package contains one complete analytical column rather than a multipack of guard cartridges.
