QIAGEN PyroMark Gold Q96 Reagents in the 50 × 96 format provide enzyme, substrate and nucleotide consumables for high-throughput pyrosequencing on the PyroMark Q96 MD and Q96 MD Automated platforms. The kit supports 50 × 96 preparations under the specified instrument workflow and is not the smaller kit intended for the Q96 ID. It contains multiple vials of enzyme and substrate mixtures plus supplied nucleotides; manufacturer documentation describes packaging revisions, so the number of enzyme and substrate vials may differ between lots without changing the ordered kit designation. Use the validated Q96 MD loading procedure, verify the dispensing hardware and avoid introducing bubbles or cross-contamination during reagent preparation. Store the unopened nucleotide and lyophilized reagents at 2–8 °C; do not freeze nucleotides. The product supplies pyrosequencing chemistry only and must be combined with the appropriate templates, primers and analysis system.
