Answer:Detailed hydrocarbon analysis of gasoline and related petroleum samples.
Answer:50 m length, 0.20 mm internal diameter and 0.50 µm film.
Answer:A separate method-specific tuning column is used for the ASTM D6730 configuration.
The Restek Rtx-DHA-50 GC Capillary Column is designed for detailed hydrocarbon analysis of gasoline and related petroleum fractions. Its 50 m length, 0.20 mm internal diameter and 0.50 µm film provide a long separation path for resolving numerous hydrocarbon components in complex fuel samples. The bonded nonpolar dimethylpolysiloxane stationary phase is optimized for petroleum hydrocarbon characterization and is used in established detailed hydrocarbon analysis methods, including ASTM D6730 workflows. Precise carrier-gas control, inlet split ratio and oven programming are essential for the resolution of closely eluting isomers. Follow a qualified method for injection conditions and use clean standards to verify retention order, response and system suitability. For ASTM D6730 work, the corresponding tuning column is a separate accessory and should be considered in the complete system configuration. This is a 50 m analytical capillary column, not a packed column or generic short nonpolar GC column.
