Sartorius, Minisart® RC4 Syringe Filter 17821----------Q, 0.2 µm Regenerated Cellulose

Sartorius Minisart RC4 Syringe Filters use a hydrophilic regenerated cellulose membrane with a 0.2 µm pore size for clarification and particulate removal from liquid samples. The membrane is compatible with many aqueous solutions and selected organic solvents, including DMSO, over the specified pH range of 3–14. Each filter has the designated male Luer-slip outlet, allowing connection to compatible collection vessels or sample-handling assemblies. Use the filters to prepare samples for analytical procedures or other small-volume filtration applications where the correct membrane chemistry and pore size are required. Pre-wet or condition the membrane only where the method calls for it, and avoid applying excessive syringe pressure to blocked units. A 0.2 µm pore size does not by itself establish sterile processing conditions; these units are supplied non-sterile in a bulk package of 500. The filters can be sterilized by validated autoclave or ethylene oxide procedures when required. This is not a PTFE filter or a presterilized individually packed unit.
