This barcode scanner is an optional data-entry accessory for Sartorius Sartocheck® 5 and Sartocheck® 5 Plus automated filter integrity testers. Reading barcodes into the instrument can simplify the selection of saved test programs and help operators enter identifiers associated with filters, products or test records. It reduces repeated manual typing in busy process-control environments, where data accuracy and traceability are important. The scanner is supplied with a 3 m USB cable for connection to a compatible tester. Laboratories can incorporate the accessory into documented filter-testing workflows, including pre-use and post-use integrity testing where required by the process. The device is a scanner only; it does not perform integrity measurements without the Sartocheck instrument and should not be confused with other accessory kits.
