Optifit non-sterile extended pipette tips provide a 1200 µL working volume with a 90 mm extended-length geometry for reaching deeper or narrower vessels. This racked configuration contains 960 non-filtered tips. The tips use a universal design and are compatible with Sartorius Picus®, Picus® NxT, and Picus® 2 pipettes as well as many other pipetting systems. They are manufactured under cleanroom conditions and supplied non-sterile, with purity testing for DNase, RNase, human DNA, and endotoxin contamination. The extended geometry helps reduce the need to insert the pipette shaft close to the sample, which can be useful with tall tubes or vessels. The racked format supports organized routine use and light, ergonomic tip attachment on compatible Sartorius pipettes.
