EasySep™ Buffer is used as a ready-to-use suspension and separation buffer for EasySep immunomagnetic cell-isolation workflows. The formulation contains Dulbecco's phosphate-buffered saline with 2% fetal bovine serum and 1 mM EDTA. These components provide an isotonic environment, protein supplementation and chelation that help maintain cells in suspension and reduce unwanted aggregation during magnetic labeling and separation. The buffer is compatible with EasySep procedures across human, mouse, rat, non-human primate and other sample types when the corresponding isolation kit specifies EasySep Buffer. It can be used during antibody labeling, magnetic-particle incubation, washing and transfer steps. The standardized formulation removes the need to prepare PBS/FBS/EDTA buffer manually and supports reproducibility between cell-separation experiments and operators.
