Answer:This configuration contains 250 g.
Answer:It is a pentose monosaccharide.
Answer:It can act as an inducer in arabinose-regulated bacterial expression systems.
L-(+)-Arabinose is a naturally occurring pentose sugar used in biochemical, microbiological, and molecular-biology workflows. This configuration contains 250 g of white to pale-cream crystalline material with a nominal purity of 99%; the product specification includes an HPLC assay of at least 98.5%. Arabinose is widely used as a carbon source in microbial studies and as an inducer for arabinose-responsive gene-expression systems such as promoters regulated by AraC. In inducible bacterial expression workflows, the final arabinose concentration can be adjusted to tune expression of the target gene, although the appropriate level depends on the host strain, promoter design, and desired expression rate. The solid sugar dissolves readily in water for preparation of sterile stock solutions. Prepare working solutions with suitable filtration or sterilization procedures for the intended biological application.
