The Agilent GC 3800 column oven heater is a 230 V service replacement component for thermal control in the GC 3800 gas chromatography platform. It provides the heat needed for programmed column-oven temperature profiles, which are central to analyte retention and chromatographic reproducibility. The heater belongs to the instrument's oven electrical assembly and is not a complete oven module. Correct replacement requires matching the instrument's mains-voltage configuration, electrical connections and physical mounting arrangement. Maintenance should include checks of the temperature sensing and control circuits before the oven is returned to analytical use. This 230 V version should not be interchanged with a different-voltage heater.
