The 12 × 32 mm vial format fits supported autosampler trays and supports reproducible sample positioning for injection. A write-on marking area assists manual sample identification, while the clear glass body makes sample volume and visible residue easy to inspect. Select septa and screw caps for the analyte, solvent and injection method; vial dimensions alone do not establish cap compatibility with every platform. Before loading, inspect the vial rim for defects, use a clean septum and avoid overfilling to preserve headspace and needle clearance.
