Agilent Gas Clean carrier-gas purifier CP17973 is a combination filtration cartridge intended to remove oxygen, moisture and hydrocarbons from a compatible chromatography gas supply. The purified carrier gas supports stable GC performance and can reduce contamination that affects capillary columns, sensitive detectors and GC/MS systems. This universal-style purifier is used in an appropriate Agilent Gas Clean connecting unit and is also included in several Gas Clean installation kits. The filter cartridge is a replaceable gas purification element, not the complete connecting assembly or installation kit. Laboratory maintenance programs can use it when replacing a depleted purifier according to the instrument gas-supply requirements. Select the relevant holder and gas type separately, and make sure the gas line is handled without introducing air or other contaminants during replacement.
