Answer:It binds CD3 epsilon and identifies CD3-positive T-cell populations in suitable flow-cytometry samples.
Answer:Rhesus, cynomolgus and baboon reactivity are QC tested; human reactivity is listed as tested during development.
Answer:Alexa Fluor 700 is excited by a red laser, with emission centered around 719 nm; instrument optics and panel compensation must be matched accordingly.
The BD Pharmingen Alexa Fluor 700-conjugated mouse anti-CD3 monoclonal antibody, clone SP34-2, supports multiparameter flow-cytometric analysis of CD3-positive T lymphocytes. The clone recognizes CD3 epsilon and is particularly useful in nonhuman-primate immunophenotyping: rhesus, cynomolgus and baboon reactivity are quality-control tested, while human reactivity has been assessed during development. Alexa Fluor 700 is excited by a red laser and emits in the far-red region, enabling combination with appropriately separated dyes in multicolor panels. Select lymphocytes using scatter, viability and singlet gates, then resolve CD3-positive events alongside CD4, CD8 or other markers appropriate to the study. Set compensation or unmixing with matched controls and titrate staining to avoid unnecessary background. Store the light-sensitive conjugate at the recommended refrigerated temperature without freezing. Species validation must not be generalized beyond the tested or development-verified reactivities.
