Cytiva Whatman 903 Proteinsaver EU cards provide five circular absorbent sampling areas for collecting, drying, transporting and archiving small volumes of biological fluid. Each sampling circle is approximately 12 mm across and can hold about 75–80 µL of sample when correctly applied. The EU-format card includes a wraparound protective cover with spaces for identifying the sample and recording the collection date. A printed biohazard symbol helps identify the specimen-handling context. The supplied package contains 100 cards, not separate loose filter-paper discs. Apply sample within the marked area without stacking multiple wet applications unless the validated collection protocol permits it. Allow the spots to air-dry fully under appropriate clean conditions before placing cards into suitable protective storage packaging. Avoid touching sample areas, cross-contamination or exposure to uncontrolled humidity. The collection card is a sampling substrate, not an assay kit or a substitute for validation of downstream extraction and analytical methods.
