Cytiva Superdex 75 Prep Grade is a high-resolution size-exclusion chromatography resin for preparative separation and polishing of proteins and other biomolecules. The cross-linked agarose–dextran composite matrix contains small spherical beads with an average particle size of approximately 34 µm. The resin fractionates many globular proteins in the approximate molecular-mass range of 3,000–70,000 Da, enabling separation based primarily on hydrodynamic size rather than charge or affinity. The 150 mL bottle supplies unpacked resin, allowing column dimensions and bed volume to be selected for the intended process. Prepare and pack the resin using a suitable chromatography column, equilibrate with a compatible buffer, and minimize sample volume when high resolution is required. Monitor pressure, bed integrity, and peak behavior throughout use. The resin is supplied in a sodium acetate and ethanol storage suspension; exchange into the working buffer before sample loading. Superdex 75 Prep Grade is not a prepacked HiLoad column.
