The Cytiva Whatman Three-Piece Filter Funnel is a laboratory vacuum filtration assembly designed to hold a 70 mm filter medium while processing samples through a removable funnel system. This model has a 115 mL reservoir and an effective filtration diameter of 50 mm, equivalent to approximately 19.6 cm² of active filtration area. The separable construction supports installation and removal of a suitable filter and simplifies cleaning of the holder after sample filtration. Select the filter material and pore rating independently, based on the analytical or sample-retention requirement. Ensure that the support plate, seal and vacuum connection are correctly assembled before pouring sample into the reservoir. The 115 mL version has a shorter reservoir than the 210 mL version, although the effective filtration area is unchanged. The supplied product is a funnel assembly, not a pack of filter membranes.
